Paraguay Formalises Strategic Cooperation on High-Performance Computing and Energy

On 22 October, Paraguay’s state news agency reported that a strategic partnership agreement was formalised during the visit of US Under Secretary of State Christopher Landau to develop high-performance computing infrastructure powered by electricity from the Itaipú hydroelectric plant. The announcement did not disclose a confirmed project budget or contract price.
