Paraguay’s Manufacturing and Maquila Sector Adds Jobs as Exports Expand

Paraguay’s maquila industry recorded approximately US$1.148 billion in exports from January through September 2026, up 25% year on year, according to figures reported on October 15. The sector recorded 36,382 jobs, representing a 4% increase compared with the same period in 2025.
